3DPRINTUK, a leading provider of 3D printing services, is pleased to announce that it has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification, the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems.

This follows achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification at the end of 2022. The ISO14001:2015 certification underscores the company’s dedication to operating environmentally responsible and sustainably across its expanding 3D printing operations.

3DPRINTUK has long been recognised for its commitment to sustainability, implementing various initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. This includes achieving Carbon Neutral Status, accredited by Climate Partner and attaining Plastic Neutral Status in collaboration with Clean Hub.

Nick Allen, CEO of 3DPRINTUK, commented:
“Achieving ISO 14001 is a proud moment for us as a team. This formalised certification builds upon the existing efforts by the whole team for environmental management, which we have committed to on our Road to Net Zero. This rigorous and independent assessment of the company’s environmental management system underlines our commitment to environmental issues and further demands continuous improvement.”

The benefits of this certification extend beyond 3DPRINTUK itself, setting a positive example for other companies in the industry and driving wider adoption of sustainable practices. Customers can now be confident that their 3D printed parts are not only high-quality but also produced with environmental responsibility in mind.

3DPRINTUK supplies 3D printed parts for low volume, on-demand batch production to the highest quality standards for various industrial sectors.

Accreditation of the ISO 14001 standard is being awarded to 3DPRINTUK by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
