Our Origins
Established in January 2016, PlastikMedia is a specialised division of PlastikCity Ltd, the procurement portal for the UK and Irish plastics sector. Recognising the increasing demand for expert marketing within this niche, PlastikMedia was launched to offer dedicated digital marketing services, exclusively for the plastics industry.
Our heritage is deeply rooted in the sector, with our inception driven by Carl Futcher’s extensive experience and genuine passion for quality British plastics manufacturing. Carl’s background as the former Managing Director of Negri Bossi UK, coupled with his industry experience since 1985, provided the solid foundation upon which PlastikMedia was built.
Leadership has since transitioned to Jess Clarke, Carl’s daughter and the Managing Director of PlastikMedia. Together with Will Clarke, Sales Director, they continue to provide digital marketing services with a focus on the technical aspects of plastic manufacturing, ensuring that our services are deeply aligned with industry needs.
