ASEP Engineers have recently carried out the service of a 19-station SB Dry material handling system.
This system was in urgent need of attention with the usual symptoms of poor material delivery, which has an obvious negative effect on production and the amount of energy consumed by the two 7.5Kw vacuum pumps.
All loaders were stripped, examined, and resealed, and all necessary repairs were carried out, along with pipework, hose, and filter inspection. After all the repairs were completed, the system settings were optimised.
The key to ASEP Services saving the customer money is the fact all this work was carried out with the system running with no loss of production. The savings were compounded by reducing the working time the vacuum pumps were running and the fact the IMM downtime is reduced due to consistent material flow.
