Tekniplaz Welcomes Steve Carter as New Project Manager

Nottinghamshire-based tooling and precision engineering specialist Tekniplaz Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Carter as Project Manager. With a career spanning over four decades in injection mould tooling, Steve brings deep technical expertise and a practical, hands-on approach to project delivery.

Steve began his career as a traditionally trained apprentice toolmaker before spending more than 38 years in injection mould tool design, also holding senior roles as a Tooling Engineer and Technical Manager. His wide-ranging experience spans sectors including automotive, packaging, medical, and building products, and he has a strong track record of developing reliable tooling solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.

His arrival strengthens the company’s ability to support an increasing number of customer projects while maintaining its commitment to quality, lead time, and technical support.

Customers will benefit from Steve’s ability to manage complex tooling programmes from initial specification through to delivery and validation, ensuring clear communication, effective planning, and problem-solving throughout. His knowledge will also support the company’s expanding UK and offshore tooling operations, as well as its growing workload in tool refurbishment and modification.
