SGH Moulds Makes Interplas Debut Following Continued Growth

For over 40 years, SGH Moulds Ltd has quietly built a reputation as a trusted UK manufacturing partner in precision injection moulding, tooling and assembly solutions. Now, as part of its ambitious growth strategy for FY27 and beyond, SGH is proud to announce that the company will be exhibiting at Interplas for the very first time, marking the start of a new and exciting chapter in the company’s history.
The exhibition represents a significant milestone for the Bolton-based manufacturer as it continues to invest in both capability and market expansion across multiple sectors including medical, aerospace interiors, utilities, industrial and commercial applications.
SGH Moulds’ Managing Director, Martin Jones, commented: “Interplas represents much more than simply attending a trade show for SGH. It symbolises the evolution of our business and our intent for future growth. For many years SGH has grown through reputation, referrals and long-standing customer relationships. We are now taking that next step by actively promoting our capabilities to a wider audience and demonstrating the strength of British manufacturing.”
SGH Moulds offers a complete manufacturing solution from concept through to production, including:
- Design for Manufacture (DFM) support
- Tool design and manufacture
- Injection moulding from 22T to 650T
- Cleanroom moulding capability
- Assembly and finishing operations
- Production validation and PPAP support
The company recently achieved ISO 14001 accreditation as part of its wider sustainability and operational excellence strategy, with further investment plans already underway across machinery, systems and people.
Over the past 12 months, SGH has also strengthened its commercial structure with the appointment of new National Sales Directors and ongoing investment into customer support, project management and manufacturing capability.
The decision to attend Interplas aligns with SGH’s longer-term strategy to diversify its customer portfolio and expand into new regulated and technical sectors, whilst continuing to support its established customer base.
