Open House events were held on 9 and 16 July 2026 at the two German Arburg Technology Centers (ATC) at the locations in Radevormwald and Rednitzhembach, attracting a total of around 180 customers. The common theme was the presentation of the electric Allrounder Trend. Exciting live demonstrations and specialist presentations helped to ensure that the guests were thoroughly impressed by the efficiency and range of applications of these new standard machines.
Johannes Herbst, Director of the ATCs in Radevormwald and Rednitzhembach, Germany, gave a thoroughly positive assessment of the Open House events:
“For us it was great to see how strong the interest is in the Trend standard machines. In numerous face-to-face discussions, customers confirmed that the electric Allrounder Trend meet their requirements in terms of cost-effectiveness and Arburg quality exactly as required.”
Particular highlights included, for example, the Gestica lite with its clearly layout dashboard, the streamlined construction of the standard machines with compact guards for automation, and the drive system from AMKmotion. The water-cooled drives for the injection unit and the enlarged mould mounting space were also very well received by customers.
Events for customers from north-west and eastern Germany
The customers, primarily from western, northern and eastern Germany, made the most of the opportunity to see the new standard machines for themselves. At the Radevormwald location, an automated Allrounder 1800 e Trend with a compact guard produced a 200-millilitre cup made of PC. A linear robotic system, Multilift Select 8, removed the moulded part from the tool and set it down on a conveyor belt. As an example of technical injection moulding, an Allrounder 500 e Trend, equipped with a Multilift Select 4, produced electronic covers made of ABS at the ATC Rednitzhembach site.
The guests gained first-hand insights into the details of the Allrounder Trend and the equally new Gestica lite control system, complete with smart assistants, through a series of specialist presentations. The new electric Allrounder Trend machines offer everything that injection moulding plants need for production in the standard sector: They can be supplied at short notice, they are remarkably quick to set up, they are intuitive to operate and are easy to maintain. Moreover, they impress with their high energy efficiency and low cost in relation to investment and everyday operation. They are also backed up by proven Arburg quality and by a globally standardised service.
Furthermore, the events provided an excellent opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions with experts from the ATCs and the sales team, as well as other guests. “The extensive range of services offered by our two Arburg Technology Centers also met with great interest. The enhancement of the Radevormwald and Rednitzhembach locations through their extensive expansion over the past two years was also highly praised”, says Johannes Herbst.
Digitalisation is becoming increasingly important
Another key topic at the Open House events was digitalisation. The opportunities offered by Arburg as a digital solution provider – with its own control systems, the in-house developed MES (ALS), the arburgXworld customer portal, and AI-supported features received an incredibly positive response right across the board.
“The high level of expertise among the participants, the in-depth technical discussions regarding the capabilities of our Trend machines, and the keen interest in the Multilift robotic systems and the assistance functions were remarkable,” concludes Johannes Herbst.
“We discussed many specific cases of application and received direct enquiries about the Allrounder Trend. The Open Days were extremely valuable for both sides and clearly demonstrated that Arburg is a reliable and highly innovative partner, and one that attaches great importance to long-term partnerships and close customer relations.”
