Plastech Solutions has secured finalist places in four categories at the Plastics Industry Awards 2026, with recognition spanning machinery, toolmaking, auxiliary equipment and the contribution of Sales Director Daley Williams.
The Tamworth-based supplier has been a finalist at the Plastics Industry Awards every year since its inception in 2013. This year’s shortlist continues that record, with three Supplier Partnership nominations recognising its work with customers, alongside an individual nomination for Sales Director Daley Williams in the Unsung Hero category.
In Supplier Partnership – Prime Machinery, Plastech Solutions is shortlisted alongside NPM Group and Hozelock for a project involving NPM injection moulding machines. Its work with Technical Service Consultants and Goodbrand Plastics has earned a finalist place in Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker, while its partnership with Vernacare is shortlisted in Supplier Partnership – Auxiliary Equipment.
Completing the four nominations, Sales Director Daley Williams has been named a finalist for Unsung Hero. Together, the shortlist places bring recognition to both the company’s customer partnerships and the people behind its work.
Founded in 2013, Plastech Solutions supplies plastics manufacturing equipment and services across the UK and Ireland. The company supports businesses in packaging, medical, automotive and technical moulding, providing guidance from initial project development through to commissioning and aftercare. Its approach considers the overall cost of ownership, helping manufacturers select equipment suited to their production requirements and long-term operational goals.
The company’s portfolio includes NPM injection moulding machines, with a range covering all-electric, hybrid, multi-component and two-platen technologies, alongside systems for PET preform production. Plastech Solutions supports customers through specification, delivery, installation, training and ongoing aftercare.
Its wider offering includes moulds from Abate Basilio, robots and automation from Star Automation and Enelkon, and production monitoring technology from bfa solutions, including the PiInject system. These are complemented by vision inspection systems, conveyors, and granulators, allowing the company to support multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
The breadth of the four nominations reflects this combination of machinery supply, tooling, ancillary equipment, and customer support, with three separate customer partnerships represented on the shortlist.
Launched in 2001 and celebrating its 25th year in 2026, the Plastics Industry Awards recognise innovation, sustainability and exceptional performance across the UK plastics sector. The awards celebrate achievements by both businesses and individuals, including manufacturers, equipment suppliers and industry professionals.
The winners will be announced on Friday 20 November 2026 at the InterContinental London Park Lane, with comedian and writer Holly Walsh hosting the ceremony.
