Fairgrieve Compression Moulding is celebrating recent success, having maintained its three independent ISO accreditations following an audit by ISOQAR. The company is also thrilled to be named as a finalist in the prestigious 2025 Business Insider Made in the North East Awards in the Manufacturer of the Year category (under £25m turnover).
Commitment to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Standards
Following the latest surveillance audit, Fairgrieve Compression Moulding has once again demonstrated its compliance with the stringent requirements of its ISO accreditations, reaffirming its dedication to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
Barry Davidson, Managing Director of Fairgrieve Compression Moulding, commented:
“Having successfully demonstrated on each occasion that we meet the stringent criteria expected under these demanding ISO standards, our customers can be confident that Fairgrieve is committed to our SHEQ obligations. This underlines our commitment to working to the highest possible standards whilst producing jobs for our many loyal customers.”
He added: “Huge credit for this latest achievement once again goes to our entire team, led by Michael Collier, our retained SHEQ Practitioner, Dawn Stavers, Office Manager, and Johnathon Hutchinson, Production Manager.”
Recognition as a Regional Manufacturing Leader
In addition to its accreditations success, Fairgrieves has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2025 Business Insider Made in the North East Awards. Now in their 13th year, these prestigious awards celebrate the region’s top-performing manufacturing businesses and the highly skilled workforces that drive them forward.
Barry Davidson expressed his pride in the nomination, saying: “This is a fantastic start to 2025 for us, as this is a significant awards event in our region, and one we are delighted to be recognised by. Over the past two years, and particularly in the past 12 months, we have won repeated recognition in many manufacturing awards events at local, regional, and national levels. To continue being shortlisted when there are so many successful businesses in manufacturing is a fantastic reflection on our company.”
Fairgrieve Compression Moulding ended 2024 on a high note, securing excellent new contracts with both new and long-standing customers. This momentum has carried into 2025, with a busy and productive start to the year.
Davidson added: “As ever, credit goes to the talented and hard-working team here who continue to go above and beyond for our customers and also for one another.”
The winners of the 2025 Business Insider Made in the North East Awards will be announced at a gala dinner at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on March 13, 2025. Following this event, all winners will automatically qualify for the Made in the UK Awards, taking place in Liverpool on June 19, 2025.
