LATI Releases 2024 Sustainability Report Highlighting ESG Progress

LATI presents its 2024 Sustainability Report, a document that demonstrates the ongoing commitment to combining growth, innovation, and social and environmental responsibility. This commitment has been recognised with the Ecovadis Platinum Medal, placing LATI among the top 1% of the most responsible companies worldwide in the rubber and plastics sector. The report illustrates the actions taken and the results achieved across the three fundamental pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and economic.

Environmental impact: tangible and certified results

In 2024, LATI strengthened its path towards a more sustainable production model, achieving significant milestones:

  • +24 new LATIECO products and +7 new LATIGEA products, developed to support the transition towards a circular economy.
  • 100% of electricity from certified renewable sources for the company’s needs.
  • 88% of direct (Scope 1) emissions offset, confirming the commitment to decarbonisation.
  • 23% of R&D projects launched in 2024 with a strong sustainability focus.

These results are supported by certifications and recognitions that confirm the quality of the path taken:

  • CDP Rating B for climate and water risk management.
  • ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications for environmental management and energy efficiency.
  • Operation Clean Sweep® membership to prevent the dispersion of microplastics into the environment.

Social impact: people at the centre

LATI reaffirms its commitment to the well-being, development, and safety of its people:

  • 327 employees
  • 24% of managerial positions held by women
  • +10% increase in training hours provided compared to 2023, covering technical, regulatory, language, and soft skills training.

This social commitment is recognised by:

  • Great Place to Work® certification
  • Gender Equality Certification UNI/PdR 125:2022
  • ISO 45001 certification for health and safety at work.

Economic and productive impact: solidity and responsibilit

2024 closed with economic results that reflect LATI’s strength and competitiveness:

  • Revenue: €148.3 million
  • EBITDA: €8.9 million
  • 90% of total financing linked to ESG criteria

To crown these results, in 2025, during its 80th anniversary, LATI received the prestigious Historic Trademark of National Interest recognition from the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, highlighting LATI’scontribution to the history and development of the sector and the country.
