Advanced Plastics Completes Record Investment

Advanced Plastics has recently completed a record level of capital investment to increase capacity at their world-class manufacturing facility in Hull.

This investment provides the infrastructure for Advanced Plastics to increase its sales of injection moulded products from the current level of £20 million to £30 million per annum. This will happen over the coming years, as the company believes there will be a post-Brexit and post-COVID-19 increase in demand for UK manufactured products.

Chris Pearson, Director at Advanced Plastics, explained:

“Energy efficiency and automation have been key factors in our investment decisions. All-electric or hybrid injection moulding machines have replaced traditional hydraulic machines, and our already extensive use of six-axis robotics and automation has been expanded to ensure our pricing remains competitive.”
