Sabre Plastics Tooling Ltd has successfully rebuilt and reopened its operations after a major fire on 2nd May forced the business to temporarily relocate and restructure.

Thanks to an intensive recovery effort, the company has safeguarded all customer injection moulding tools and is once again fully operational. The refurbished facility is now equipped to handle new toolmaking projects, CNC machining, and ultrasonic welding requirements.

Established in 1995, Sabre Plastics Tooling has grown into a trusted supplier of mould design and manufacturing services, precision-machined components, technical injection moulded parts, and ultrasonic welding tooling. The company also acts as the UK agent for Rinco Ultrasonics of Switzerland.

Commenting on the reopening, Sabre’s directors said: “The last few months have been an immense challenge, but the support from our customers has been incredible. We’d like to thank them for their patience during the rebuild and extend special appreciation to one of our key customers who played a vital role in helping us get set up so quickly. We couldn’t have done it without this backing.

The new toolroom features the latest manufacturing technology, including multi-axis CNC machining centres, spark erosion, wire erosion, CNC turning and grinding. This investment ensures Sabre can continue to deliver high-quality tooling and engineering services while maintaining capacity for new projects.

With operations now restored, Sabre Plastics Tooling is ready to support customers across sectors requiring injection mould tools, jigs, fixtures, ultrasonic welding horns, and bespoke engineering solutions.
