Newsome Appoints Roberto Bellotto as Rental Sales Engineer for North West and North East
Newsome is pleased to welcome Roberto Bellotto to the business as Rental Sales Engineer for the North West and North East. His appointment forms part of the company’s continued investment in strengthening regional support and expanding its technical sales capability across the UK.
Based in Preston, Roberto brings a strong background in HVAC rental and building services, with extensive experience supporting clients across a wide range of sectors. His appointment further enhances the company’s ability to deliver responsive, technically led solutions to customers operating in demanding commercial and industrial environments.
Industry Experience and Technical Expertise
Roberto joins Newsome with a well-established track record within the HVAC and hire sector. Most recently, he spent two years at Armstrong Fluid Technology as Area Sales Manager, where he was responsible for developing sales across the HVAC marketplace. His role involved working closely with building owners, contractors, consultants and facilities managers, building long-term relationships and supporting complex plant and service requirements. During his time at Armstrong, Roberto was actively involved in promoting service and maintenance strategies, developing framework agreements and supporting clients with technical appraisals and system proposals. His experience in this area provides a strong foundation for delivering structured, long-term solutions to Newsome clients.
Prior to this, Roberto worked within the chiller rental sector with both Aggreko and Andrews Sykes. In these roles, he focused on delivering temporary power and temperature control solutions, including chillers, boilers, air conditioning systems and dehumidification equipment.
His experience spans both emergency response and planned solutions, from straightforward hire requirements through to complex, fully managed projects involving design, installation and ongoing support. This background positions him as a specialist within the hire industry, with a clear understanding of the challenges faced by clients operating in critical environments.
Supporting Clients Across the North
In his role at Newsome, Roberto will be responsible for supporting clients across the North West and North East, providing expertise in rental solutions, contingency planning and longer-term HVAC strategies. He will work closely with facilities managers, contractors and production teams to assess site requirements, identify risks and deliver practical solutions that support operational continuity. This includes both reactive support during equipment failures and proactive planning to ensure systems are in place ahead of peak demand periods.
Roberto’s experience in developing strong customer relationships and providing ongoing support aligns closely with Newsome’s approach, ensuring that clients receive consistent, reliable service tailored to their specific requirements.
