Biesterfeld, one of the internationally leading distribution and service companies in the fields of plastics, rubber, speciality chemicals, and ingredients, is expanding its standard polymers portfolio. In line with Biesterfeld’s customer-centric approach, the distributor has decided to strategically strengthen its sourcing model by onboarding additional supply partners for key polyolefins. This enables future growth, greater supply stability and flexibility for customers while proactively addressing evolving market conditions.
A key pillar of Biesterfeld’s polyolefins business continues to be its long-standing partnerships with leading polymer producers, which have formed the foundation of the company’s market presence for decades and will remain an integral part of its future development. Building on this strong foundation and its extensive market and application expertise, Biesterfeld continues to expand its range of available materials and further strengthen its international supplier network. In addition to the existing product portfolio, the company now offers further polyolefins sourced from leading producers in the Middle East and Asia.
With this expansion, Biesterfeld combines its in-depth technical consulting capabilities with an even broader material offering, enabling the company to provide a comprehensive portfolio of solutions across key processing technologies, including injection moulding, film extrusion, compounding, blow moulding, and extrusion. This approach allows customers to benefit from tailored, application-oriented solutions across the entire value chain.
