KraussMaffei UK is inviting visitors to Interplas 2026 to step into a fully immersive digital environment, designed to provide a transparent and interactive roadmap for the future of plastics processing. Held at the NEC Birmingham from 2nd to 4th June 2026, the KraussMaffei stand will move beyond traditional displays to offer a data-driven experience that addresses the industry’s most pressing challenges: productivity, cost-efficiency, and smart manufacturing.
This experience is structured across the company’s three-zone booth strategy – comprising the Machine Area, Technology & Process Area, and Services Area. This layout is designed to provide a clear journey through every stage of the manufacturing lifecycle, from primary production machinery to advanced specialist processes and long-term support.
24/7 Access with the pioneersClub
To support around-the-clock operations, KraussMaffei is showcasing the pioneersClub, a platform designed to provide users with 24/7 access to their entire machine fleet’s data, technical documentation, and real-time order tracking. By demonstrating the pioneersClub at Interplas, KraussMaffei is highlighting how UK and Irish manufacturers can move away from reactive management towards a streamlined, “always-on” digital ecosystem that simplifies spare parts procurement and optimises machine availability.
Sales4Service: Lifecycle Optimisation
Within the Services Area, a dedicated ‘Sales4Service’ desk will focus on the commercial and operational advantages of lifecycle support. Moving away from static brochures, this area will utilise interactive presentations that allow visitors to click through the machine lifecycle. These digital displays use a combination of video and technical imagery to illustrate how proactive repair schedules, expert training, and digital upgrades can significantly improve the return on investment over the entire lifespan of a machine.
A Paperless Technical Gallery
In the Technology & Process Area, KraussMaffei is implementing a ‘no-paper’ goal, replacing physical handouts with an interactive gallery experience. This area features four high-resolution arch screens that provide technical briefs and highlights for advanced processes, including CleanForm, FiberForm, and Direct Compounding Injection Moulding (DCIM). Visitors can instantly access details on these processes throughout the presentations, and QR code scans displayed at the end provide instant access to the brochures for further details.
Smart Factory Integration
Driving the digital experience on-stand is the latest MC7 controller, featured on the all-electric PX injection moulding machine. The MC7 acts as the interface for a suite of digital solutions designed to stabilise and monitor production. This includes socialProduction for real-time mobile machine monitoring and APCplus, which provides intelligent process compensation. APCplus automatically detects and corrects process fluctuations in real-time, ensuring consistent part quality and significantly reducing scrap—an essential tool for manufacturers working with recycled materials or complex applications.
“Our focus at Interplas is to provide manufacturers with the digital tools and technical insights they need to stay competitive,” explains Michael Rudd, After Sales Director of KraussMaffei UK.
“By replacing static brochures with interactive, digital-first engagement across our three stand zones, we can offer a much deeper level of technical detail regarding our specialised processes and ‘Sales4Service’ support, helping our customers make more informed decisions about their production future.”
KraussMaffei UK invites all Interplas attendees to visit Stand L98 / L100 in Hall 10 to experience this interactive digital showcase and explore the next generation of connected manufacturing. Book a demonstration by contacting the KraussMaffei UK team.
