PlastikCity and PlastikMedia Move to New Dedicated HQ to Support Continued Growth

PlastikCity and PlastikMedia, the UK plastics industry’s dedicated procurement and media platforms, have officially relocated to a brand-new, standalone office space. The relocation brings the sister companies into a dedicated commercial setting to support their ongoing work within the sector. It also follows a planned leadership transition; founder Carl Futcher recently stepped back from day-to-day operations, with Jess Clarke taking over the reins as Managing Director in 2023.

A New Chapter After 14 Years

Since launching in 2012, the business had operated out of a separate, converted wing of Carl’s family home. With Jess now leading the company and Sales Director Will Clarke managing commercial operations, establishing an independent premises became the natural next step for the business.

The team officially collected the keys to their new office at Bitteswell Business Park in Leicestershire and completed the move on Wednesday, 8^th July 2026. The new location provides a modern, collaborative environment for the team alongside scenic countryside views.

“It’s the perfect time for us to take this next step into our own separate office,” said Jess Clarke, Managing Director of PlastikCity and PlastikMedia.

“For the last 14 years, we’ve essentially stolen half of Carl’s house to build the business. A huge thank you goes to him and my Mum for their patience – they definitely deserve their home back! This move gives our team a dedicated space of our own to keep innovating, growing, and serving the plastics sector.”

The new layout will streamline day-to-day operations for both the procurement portal (PlastikCity) and the marketing and media arm (PlastikMedia).
