Sierra 57 Welcomes Ben Pickering as Polymer Consultant – Mould Training & Development

Sierra 57 is pleased to welcome Ben Pickering to the team as Polymer Consultant – Mould Training & Development. With more than 20 years of hands-on manufacturing and injection moulding experience, Ben brings a strong technical and operational background developed across the FMCG and automotive manufacturing sectors.

Having built his career across a wide range of manufacturing and injection moulding roles: from hands-on setter and process technician positions to shift and group production management, Ben has a strong blend of practical shop-floor knowledge, technical expertise and experience in leading people and production teams.

Working with injection moulding machines ranging from 20T through to 4000T, as well as robotic systems, automation and multi-department production operations, Ben brings extensive technical knowledge across a wide range of industry-leading injection moulding machinery. Combined with broad experience across a variety of polymer materials and a strong understanding of the processing challenges and requirements associated with different applications, his practical expertise makes him an ideal fit for mould training and development.
