Leading technical injection moulder Agentdraw Plastics has promoted Joseph Parsons to Sales Director, effective October 2026, following his progression through engineering and business development roles since joining the company in 2014.

Joe began his career with Agentdraw as a Plastics Engineer before moving into New Business Development in 2019. His experience across technical and commercial roles has given him a detailed understanding of the company’s manufacturing capabilities and the challenges customers face when bringing plastic parts into production.

In his new position, Joe will oversee sales strategy, new business development, existing customer relationships and the sales team. His responsibilities also involve Agentdraw’s sister company, Alliance Tooling, supporting customers across both injection moulding and mould tool manufacture.

Darren Parsons, Managing Director, commented: “Joe has built his knowledge of the business over many years, starting in engineering before moving into a commercial role. That background gives him a practical understanding of what we can deliver and what customers need from us.

“He knows our people, our capabilities and our customers well. His promotion recognises that experience and gives him responsibility for developing our sales activity across Agentdraw Plastics and Alliance Tooling.”

Based in Whetstone, Leicestershire, Agentdraw Plastics specialises in the manufacture of injection moulded components. The company supports customers throughout the whole product development and manufacturing process, combining in-house design and engineering with prototyping, production tooling, injection moulding, testing and validation, finishing and assembly.

Working with businesses ranging from start-ups and SMEs to established OEMs, Agentdraw helps customers progress from an initial concept or existing design through to repeat production. Its capabilities accommodate both small production runs and high-volume manufacture, serving sectors including consumer goods, retail, industrial, automotive and healthcare.

Joe commented: “Starting in engineering has shaped the way I work with customers. Understanding the manufacturing process helps me ask the right questions early and have useful conversations about how a project can move forward.

“Since moving into business development in 2019, I’ve enjoyed building those relationships and helping customers make use of the expertise within both businesses. I’m excited to take on this role and looking forward to the future with Agentdraw Plastics and Alliance Tooling!”

Sister company Alliance Tooling provides complementary expertise in injection mould toolmaking, with services including design for manufacture, Moldflow analysis, tool design, manufacture and trialling. Its capabilities range from aluminium prototype moulds to hardened steel, multi-cavity production tooling, with UK manufacturing and managed overseas tooling options.

Joe’s involvement across both companies provides continuity for customers discussing tooling and moulding projects, supported by the technical teams within each business.
