APS Announces Triple Hire Amid New Contract Wins

APS UK Ltd is excited to announce it has expanded its team with three new hires, including a new area sales manager for the north west of England and Scotland, amid continued contract wins.

Robert Johnson joins APS with over 23 years of experience working in dust control and brings expertise in system design, manufacturing, and explosion protection, including ATmosphères EXplosibles (ATEX) and Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).

His experience lies mostly within dust control for the surface preparation industry, and the containment of dust from the grinding of asbestos. Through this, he has both a P401 and P402 certificate for asbestos analysis and surveying. Johnson also spent 15 years working within communications at the Royal Air Force.

Also joining Johnson are cousins Joe and Jordan Haggerston, who will be working as site fitters at APS, installing and servicing dust extraction systems.

The new hires signal the continued growth, after having recently secured contracts with major national firms in the food and beverage processing industry.

With a client-base spanning many sectors, ranging from food to pharmaceuticals, the company worked with numerous large manufacturing firms over the last three decades, and recently installed a new state-of-the-art dust extraction system at Fox’s Biscuits’ West Yorkshire factory.
