Arburg Ltd. is pleased to announce that Ashlee Gough will return to the company in May 2026, taking up the role of Sales Director. Ashlee brings over 15 years of experience in the plastics injection moulding industry, bringing a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial leadership, and strategic sales management.
The appointment further strengthens Arburg Ltd.’s senior leadership team, bolstering the company’s long-term commitment to technical excellence and customer-focused growth.
Over 15 years of experience in the injection moulding industry
After completing an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering, Ashlee Gough began his career with Arburg in 2016, starting in service engineering, where he developed a deep understanding of Arburg technologies, customer applications, and the practical needs of customers on the shop floor.
In the six years since leaving Arburg in 2020, Ashlee has progressed through senior sales leadership positions and has broadened his commercial experience, led high-performing sales teams, and has built a strong reputation across the UK and Irish plastics industries. His professional development during this period has positioned him as one of the most respected sales leaders in the sector.
Coming home with customer-focused solutions

As Sales Director, Ashlee will be responsible for leading Arburg Ltd.’s UK and Ireland sales organisation, developing and executing sales strategy, supporting key customer relationships, and working closely with colleagues across service, applications and automation technology to deliver integrated, customer-focused solutions.
Steve adds: “This is very much a ‘coming home’ for Ashlee, who brings fresh perspective, strategic strength and proven sales leadership to Arburg Ltd., and his appointment significantly strengthens our management team.
