ARBURG Welcomes Freya Barnett as New Internal Sales and Marketing Administrator

Freya Barnett has joined ARBURG Ltd. as the new Internal Sales and Marketing Administrator. She will support the sales engineers and the whole ARBURG team in a range of ways, covering sales, marketing, customer support, and support with the company’s new CRM system.
Captain of the Stratford-upon-Avon Hockey Club 1st Ladies Team, Freya is organised, competitive and ambitious – and skilled in social media.
“I am supporting ARBURG in many ways beyond the original job description, and I want to help wherever I can. I can see opportunities to increase our social media footprint and grow the brand name in the UK & Ireland.” Freya brings sales and marketing support experience from Newey, a horticultural company in Stratford-upon-Avon. She is looking into improving some business processes at ARBURG Ltd.
What was it about ARBURG that appealed?
“I wanted to work for a bigger company with a family feel. My interview showed there are potential opportunities to progress, and I am keen to advance my career. I like this industry, it’s very different to my previous job, but I like the change. Everyone at ARBURG is friendly and helpful. And the industry seems engaged, for example, I spoke to many people at the recent Plastic Industry Awards dinner who were interesting and engaging.”
Freya has played hockey competitively since she was 14. Her ladies’ hockey team is second in the league and aims to be promoted this season. With the men’s team captain, Freya has created a mixed hockey team. “We are into the 5th round of the Mixed Vase. There are now three more matches until the finals at Lee Valley.”
