Bjørn Thorsen will showcase its expertise in advanced adhesive solutions and sustainable polymer innovation at the World Adhesive & Sealant Conference (WAC) 2026, highlighting a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance hot melt materials and liquid adhesives.

Taking place from 16–18 September 2026 in London, UK, WAC2026 brings together experts from across the adhesives and sealants industry to explore new technologies and solutions shaping the future of the sector. Bjørn Thorsen will be exhibiting at Table 73, where visitors can meet the team and explore its portfolio of adhesive solutions.

Building on the long-standing distribution partnership with Lubrizol, Bjørn Thorsen offers high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) materials for both hot melt and solvent-based adhesive applications. The portfolio includes industry-leading Pearlbond™ and Pearlstick™ TPU solutions from Lubrizol, supporting customers in developing adhesive systems that combine performance, versatility and sustainability.

“Customers are increasingly looking for more than a material that meets a specification. They need application-specific solutions that address the real performance, processing and sustainability challenges they face. Our role is to combine leading material technologies with deep market and application knowledge, translating innovation into practical value for our customers. Together with partners such as Lubrizol, we can help turn advanced TPU technologies into adhesive solutions that are tailored to the requirements of specific applications, says Quentin Le Piouff, Sales & Marketing Director, Advanced Polymer Solutions, Europe, at Bjørn Thorsen.

Complementing the Lubrizol TPU portfolio, Bjørn Thorsen will also showcase a range of polymers based on copolyamides (CoPA) and copolyesters (CoPES) from EMS-GRILTECH. The offering also includes water-based adhesives, biobased solutions, as well as a selection of additives and modifiers.

Reflecting the central theme of WAC2026, ‘Reinventing the Future,’ Bjørn Thorsen will contribute to the conference programme with a presentation on the topic ‘Next Generation TPU Adhesive Solutions: Advancing Towards Sustainable Innovation.’ The presentation will take place on 18 September 2026 from 12:30–13:00.

Mary Aiken-Wood, Account Manager, UK & Ireland, at Bjørn Thorsen, will present practical approaches to reducing the environmental impact of adhesive systems, including the use of biobased TPU materials, lower energy requirements for hot melt adhesives, reduced toxicity profiles in solvent-based processes, and continued performance optimisation without compromising sustainability objectives.

Visitors are invited to attend the presentation and meet the Bjørn Thorsen exhibition team at the conference to discuss relevant topics and explore potential solutions for their applications.
