BOY Sales Meeting 2025: Electric Series Updates and K Show Sneak Peek

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

BOY’s annual sales meeting took place on June 16 and focused on strategic topics, including market trends, technological developments, and especially the new Electric series, which attracted strong interest from participants.

The meeting was also an opportunity for in-depth discussions, professional networking, and recognition of the team’s collaborative success over the past year.
One particular highlight discussed was the upcoming live application at K 2025 – the BOY Barista Bar.

The highlight at the trade fair is the BOY 50 Electric, combined with an integrated handling system and the Procan ALPHA® 6 control system. Visitors take a seat on a bar stool at a stylishly designed counter, enter their name, and conveniently select their espresso speciality via a touch display. After a short wait, they receive their fresh espresso in a personalised cup – a real trade fair highlight with a personal touch.

The extra-thick-walled espresso cups are taken directly from the BOY 50 Electric by the integrated BOY LR 5 and led to a laser station. After customisation, the cups are then placed at a transfer station and picked up by the collaborating 6-axis robot. The robot adds the decorative BOY logo made of cocoa powder before serving the cup to the guest.

The cups themselves are made of high-quality, sustainable NAS® ECO 30 BC90 material, coloured with a special laser-compatible paint that creates optimal conditions for precise laser marking. The material is provided by our long-standing partner Ineos Styrolution, manufacturer of Styrene plastics. Head of Technical Service, Christian Dietlein said, “We appreciate our long-standing collaboration with Dr. Boy and encourage our customers to discover BOY injection moulding machines at the K trade fair.”
