CJ Tool & Mouldings is proud to announce it has been named a finalist in the prestigious Express & Star Business Awards 2026. The company has been shortlisted in the “Manufacturing Champion” category, a testament to its recent transformation from a traditional subcontractor into a modern, technical manufacturing partner.
The shortlisting follows a period of significant growth and operational investment at the Stourbridge facility. Highlights from the company’s submission included achieving Platinum Supplier Status with global brand Dennis Eagle, maintaining a 99.5% on-time delivery rate, and a successful brand refresh under the new identity, “We Are CJ.”

The judging panel was impressed by CJ’s commitment to both innovation and sustainability. Over recent years the company reduced its electricity usage by 32% through capital investment in high-efficiency machinery and injection moulded over one million components using recycled or re-processed materials in the last year alone.
CJ Tool & Mouldings also continues to invest in its own research and development. The company recently secured its first trademark for the “Just Add Wood” project in the Garden and DIY sector and has applied for its first patent for a new design created by their in-house tooling experts.

The CJ management team will welcome the Express & Star judges to their Stourbridge facility for an official site visit on 18th May. The final winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on 4th June.
