The plastics industry’s leading digital procurement platform, PlastikCity, will present its latest developments and special offers at the upcoming Plastics Live exhibition, held in Coventry on 5th & 6th July 2022.
PlastikCity is an online procurement and marketing platform serving the UK and IE plastics industry. Now partnering with over 260 leading manufacturers and suppliers, the PlastikCity community has grown year on year, with 2022 marking the tenth anniversary for the company.
PlastikCity’s ‘Find a Supplier’ service will be on full display at this July’s Plastics Live exhibition, where show visitors will be encouraged to navigate the website, demonstrating how they can instantly contact PlastikCity Partners and submit quotation requests through the digital platform. With access to over 260 market leading companies across 400 categories of equipment, machinery, materials and services, PlastikCity can guarantee to solve any problems you may have with procurement using its extensive list of pre-approved suppliers and manufacturers.
True to its founding principles, all companies represented on the PlastikCity website have had to pass qualifying critera to be eligible for membership. Membership elligibility is based on a few factors, including the supply of high-quality goods or services, a demonstrated financial stability with at least 2 years in the UK market, and the presence of a strong and reputable UK-based service or support functions, amongst other factors. This allows website users to browse with confidence, as only high-quality, reputable and reliable suppliers are represented on the platform.

Live on Show
As well as its core ‘Find a Supplier’ service, other PlastikCity offerings will be on show at Plastics Live, including its newly revamped Industry Jobs section, which now has over 100 live jobs and candidate listings, specific to the plastics industry.
PlastikCity’s ‘Used and Surplus Stocks’ area is dedicated to the buying and selling of used, refurbished or ex-demo industry equipment and machinery, with low one-off listing costs and no commissions encouraging interactions and trade between the PlastikCity community members. The marketplace has over 125 listings currently live, and is a great place to offload a piece of unused machinery gathering dust, or that leftover material from an old project, as well as being a great place to browse for a bargain!
