A substantial collection of injection moulding machinery, CNC equipment, and supporting plant is currently available through an online auction managed by Apex Auctions. The auction comprises 348 lots of equipment previously used by WCM Europe, a UK automotive component manufacturer based in Basildon.
The significant catalogue includes a wide range of machinery for injection moulding, machining, inspection, material preparation, lifting and general factory operations. With many lots only a few years old, and a wide range of machinery, equipment and tooling available, this is a significant opportunity for UK manufacturers to upgrade their fleet at a discounted cost.

Injection moulding machinery
The injection moulding equipment is expected to be of particular interest to UK processors looking to expand capacity or add machinery for new projects.
The featured injection moulding machinery lots include:

Both small and large clamping force sizes are available, within the range of 35 to 1100 metric tonnes, with some lots also including associated robotics and conveying within one package.

Beyond the headline machinery, the catalogue includes 16 SHINI hopper dryer and loader assemblies, 17 Tool-Temp temperature control units, 6 hot runner controllers and a variety of other associated equipment.
CNC and toolroom machinery
The machining section includes a selection of Hurco CNC turning and milling equipment suitable for production machining, mould manufacture and toolroom applications.

Additional toolroom equipment includes a reconditioned Charmilles Technologies Roboform 20 EDM, a reconditioned Jones & Shipman 540P surface grinder, a Bridgeport turret mill, a Harrison M250 lathe and metal-cutting bandsaws.
Further lots include 10 Vertex CNC tooling trolleys, a substantial quantity of additional BT40 tooling and three metal cutting bandsaws.
Inspection, ancillary and lifting equipment
Inspection and quality-control lots include a 2023 Hexagon Global Lite coordinate measuring machine, a Global 12.22.10 CMM, a Faro portable inspection arm and a Baty Shadowmaster RX11 XL profile projector.
The wider catalogue covers compressors, workshop equipment and lifting systems, including an AB Cranes 10,000 kg overhead crane with uprights and rails and a 2019 Skyjack SJ III 4632 mobile electric scissor lift.

The timed online auction closes on Thursday, 30th July 2026 at 15:00 BST, with early offers also encouraged.
