Energy bills are one of the biggest costs for manufacturers in the UK. Reducing energy wastage is a goal for all plastics companies. As part of its series of seminars, BPF Energy will explore how organisations can reduce their bills and better manage their energy in its Integrated Energy Management seminar. This event will take place in Leeds on 4 July.

During the event, Gavin Roberts from WSP will explore how renewable energy can be implemented and financed in the plastics industry. The seminar will examine energy storage, demand-side response and financing incentives. As part of the day there will also be an opportunity for delegates to learn more about the BPF Climate Change Agreement.

BPF Energy Technical Director Peter Haslop comments:

‘In the current business environment energy efficiency is an essential tool for every plastics manufacturer. In its events, BPF Energy aims to provide attendees with new ideas and interesting new techniques that will help them save money and save energy.’

Full details of the seminar are available on the BPF website – http://www.bpf.co.uk/bpf-energy/bpf-energy-events/integrated-energy-management.aspx
