ILLIG UK Expands Field Service Team to Support UK Growth

With over 580 machines now supported across the UK, ILLIG UK has added two field service engineers to the Yaxley team. The expansion brings the field team to its largest ever, reflecting the steady growth in the UK installed base over the past three years.

The additional engineers will focus on preventative maintenance and reducing response times for service calls, particularly in the north of England and Scotland, where travel times have historically been longest.

“Our customers run their machines hard, and downtime costs real money,” said Tom Price, Managing Director of ILLIG UK. “Adding to the team means we can get to a machine faster and, more importantly, catch problems before they become breakdowns.”

ILLIG UK’s service agreements include preferential rates on service hours, and the company reports that customers on agreements experience significantly less unplanned downtime than those without.
