2019 has been a very exciting year for Intouch Monitoring and all of its customers. The launch of the new Intouch i4 Cloud at a series of international exhibitions saw a significant number of new customers being able to benefit from an Intouch system.
With no upfront cost, scalable and accessible immediately via the internet, the subscription-based Intouch i4 Cloud system starts saving you money from the first day of implementation. Customers can try the production monitoring, scheduling, reporting, and analytics system completely risk-free and expand it as required.
A key feature of the i4 Cloud system is that support, backups, and updates are completely managed by Intouch, meaning that no specialised IT department is needed. This leaves manufacturers to concentrate on their core manufacturing business, happy in the knowledge that they are getting close to maximum productivity.
‘Since implementing the Intouch i4 Cloud, Monday morning start-up times have improved by 1 hour across all machines, cycle times have improved by 5-8%, uptime has been significantly improved, and the real-time data has prompted us to buy a new machine and instantly we saw an increase of 30% in efficiency and cycle times and a reduction in power consumption too.’ Plastics Parts Direct.
Visitors to the Intouch stand at Plastpol were amongst the first in the world to experience the new i4 Cloud system in May 2019, as Intouch exhibited at Poland’s premier plastics trade fair.
The Intouch i4 Cloud with a new and refreshed logo was also on display at the K Show in Dusseldorf in October, where it received an overwhelming level of positivity and excitement. A customer on the trade show floor commented: “Intouch i4 Cloud is the most exciting thing I have seen at the exhibition, it’s the first thing I am going to discuss with my guys when I get back!” Orders came in thick and fast in the weeks following the show.
Intouch also collaborated with ROMI at their blue circle event in November, which was a great opportunity for customers to see the Intouch system running live on several ROMI machines. This collaboration is set to be repeated, both in the UK and other countries.
The Intouch team would like to wish all our customers, suppliers, and partners a very Merry Christmas 2019. We look forward to working alongside you all in 2020.
