Intouch Monitoring Reflect on a Successful Year

Intouch Monitoring welcomed many new customers in 2017 from all over the world, who they are confident will also significantly increase their profitability as well as making them a more appealing supplier as a direct result of installing Intouch.

Andy Jewell, with his 30 years of experience in promoting manufacturing software was appointed as Regional Sales Manager at Intouch last summer. Picking the right company to represent was vital for him, as having worked for so many years in the industry, he wanted to make sure the product and the company met or exceeded his high standards:

“It’s exciting to join this specialist team and to be able to offer the Intouch Monitoring package due to its ease of use, ease of customisation, affordability, flexibility and most important its proven track record in increasing customers’ OEE and greatly improving other critical KPIs. I am also impressed with the exceptional level of support and personal contact throughout the process that I know customers always value highly.”

September saw Intouch launch their brand new HMIs at their eye-catching stand at Interplas. The bright, high resolution and feature-rich touchscreen has a new wi-fi option and the ability to view documents at the machine, making it even easier to seamlessly connect the manufacturing process. Intouch collaborated with Romi injection moulding machines at Interplas and demonstrated the latest OPC UA connectivity to their latest injection moulding machines controls. They were delighted to add yet another prestigious name in the UK market to their ever-growing customer base. Suscom Industries Limited, a leading and trusted supplier of office furniture became another key Intouch Monitoring Customer during Interplas 2017.

“In our search for trusted and reliable partners for our 24/7 business and through Romi’s introduction, Intouch Monitoring stood out as categorically offering the best MES solution for a very competitive price” Tony Tartaglione – Suscom Industries.

Suscom Industries, as part of their Industry 4.0 initiatives, are initially implementing Intouch’s real-time scheduling, production monitoring and reporting system on their full complement of Romi’s latest injection moulding machines and automation cells to further assist in improving control of their manufacturing process, and to further improve plant and people productivity as their business continues to develop and grow.
