Kadant PAAL Makes Triumphant Return to RWM

After a few years of absence, Katie Morrison, Business Development Manager, headed up Kadant PAAL Limited‘s successful return to this year’s RWM and Let’s Recycle Live Exhibition from 14th to 15th September at Birmingham NEC.

This year, the RWM and Lets Recycle Live exhibitions combined to create the UK’s leading event for waste, resource and sustainability professionals, held at the NEC Birmingham this September. With over 12,000 visitors, 200 speakers and over 550 exhibitors, the event was bustling with activity and bursting with technologies aimed at creating more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for industry.

After a few years of absence, Kadant PAAL, leading specialists in the design and manufacture of high-performance balers and ancillary equipment, returned to the RWM exhibition and had a productive two days on the show floor at the NEC, Birmingham.

Kadant Paal’s Business Development Manager, Katie Morrison, commented:

“We’ve had two exciting and successful days at RWM, and the exhibition was a great opportunity to meet old, and new customers face to face, including meeting the fantastic team at PlastikCity!”

“We look forward to following up on the many enquiries and productive conversations we had on the stand over the two days.”

At the exhibition, Kadant Paal introduced its new technology: BALEiD by Paal.

Katie Morrison continues:

“Everybody agrees that ‘cradle to grave’ material traceability is a good thing. But, until now, bale identification and traceability has relied upon an inefficient, unreliable, manual process. The new, patented BALEiD by PAAL system is set to revolutionise the industry.

“By developing a process that automatically and 100% securely attaches a label containing a unique RFID chip to each bale, BALEiD by PAAL suddenly opens up a world of opportunities.”

Using BALEiD technology, it becomes possible at the level of the individual bale to automatically record, monitor and control:

  • The date and location the bale was produced
  • The precise weight of the bale
  • The purity level of the material
  • Where it is being stored
  • Whether it has been loaded onto the truck
  • And much more!

A huge amount of work and effort goes into producing a bale, and now, for the first time, BALEiD by PAAL enables the complete picture to be captured in a convenient label.

With an unrivalled reputation and history in manufacturing waste management equipment, static and portable compactors, plus a wide range of vertical and auto tie balers, there was a lot for those attending to discuss with staff on the stand at RWM & Let’s Recycle Live.
