KraussMaffei UK is preparing to present a comprehensive look at the future of plastics processing in Hall 10, Stand L98 / L100 at the upcoming Interplas exhibition. The stand is organised into three dedicated zones: the Machine area, the Technology & Process area, and the Services area. This preview provides a glimpse into the Machine area, where KraussMaffei will showcase the latest in high-performance injection moulding machinery, enabling efficient and sustainable production.
Taking place from 2nd–4th June 2026 at the NEC, Birmingham, KraussMaffei’s Interplas presence across these three zones will allow visitors to discover advancements in hardware, digital integration, and lifecycle support.
Efficiency at its Core: The All-Electric
The primary highlight of the Machine area is the new all-electric PX series injection moulding machine. Making its first-ever appearance in the UK, this series has been re-engineered to significantly reduce both physical footprint and energy consumption, offering a more compact and economical solution for modern production floors.
Beyond its streamlined design, the PX series introduces the new MC7 control system, which promises a more intuitive user experience alongside higher performance capabilities. The machine also features advanced thermal intelligence, including optimised mould temperature control, to ensure consistent part quality.

To showcase the precision of the PX series, KraussMaffei has partnered with Solinatra for a live production demonstration. Visitors will see the PX injection moulding machine in action, producing compostable cutlery from 100% natural, plant-based materials.
This live application will illustrate how high-performance machinery can be seamlessly paired with innovative bio-composites to satisfy the rising demand for eco-responsible and circular products. It offers a practical look at how brands can integrate sustainable materials while maintaining the strict quality and functionality standards required for commercial success.
A Multi-Zone Exhibition
Beyond the Machine area, KraussMaffei will also feature dedicated spaces for the Technology & Process area and the Services area.
