LATI Releases Historical Video to Close its 80th Anniversary Celebrations

Eighty years of history, people, insight and courage. As the celebrations for its 80th anniversary come to a close, LATI presents a historical video created using Artificial Intelligence technologies: a special project that brings together memory, innovation and identity.
The video is based on a valuable collection of archival photographs, often black and white, marked by time, that capture the company’s early steps, the faces of those who helped build it, and the key moments of its journey. Through the use of AI, these images have been animated, restoring movement and expression, as if they could tell the story of their time firsthand.
This is not a simple digital restoration, but a true bridge between past and present. A way to remember where LATI comes from, to honour the people who wrote its history, and to recognise the value of a path built together, day after day.
The project was strongly supported by Michela Conterno, Chief Executive Officer of LATI, and coordinated by the Marketing & Communication team, to tell the company’s story in an authentic and contemporary way, enhancing memory as a driver for looking toward the future.
“Looking at the past does not mean dwelling on nostalgia for us, but recognising our roots in order to continue building the future with awareness. This video is a tribute to the people who made LATI what it is today and an invitation to feel part of a story that continues,” said Michela Conterno, Chief Executive Officer of LATI.
The technical production of the video was entrusted to Neural Pictures, a company specialising in advanced Artificial Intelligence applications for the enhancement of visual content. The project involved Erica Nagel, Francesco Foppoli, Francesco Persiani and Nicolò Facchinetti, who contributed to transforming historical material into a visual experience capable of engaging and inspiring emotion.
The video represents the symbolic closing of LATI’s 80th anniversary celebrations, but also a new starting point: a narrative that brings together tradition and innovation and reaffirms the company’s commitment to building long-term value together with people.
