Electronics design and manufacturing specialist Pektron will be exhibiting at Advanced Engineering 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 4–5 November. Visitors to Stand G150D in Hall 3 will have the opportunity to meet six members of the Pektron team and discuss the company’s capabilities across electronics engineering, plastic injection moulding, product development, testing and manufacturing.
The event provides an opportunity for manufacturers and product developers to explore potential solutions to technical challenges, discuss new projects and review their existing supply chains. Pektron’s team will be available throughout the two-day exhibition to offer guidance and share expertise across its engineering and manufacturing operations.
Bringing Electronics and Plastics Expertise Together
Based in Derby, Pektron provides electronics design, development and manufacturing services alongside precision plastic injection moulding, assembly and product testing. Its in-house plastics facility houses 11 injection moulding machines, supporting the production of everything from intricate components and automotive key fobs to robust protective enclosures for electronic systems.
By combining electronics and plastics expertise, Pektron can support customers throughout the product development process, from initial design and prototyping to tooling, production, assembly and testing.
Dave Chance, Injection Moulding Manager at Pektron, explained:
“I enjoy the turnkey way we work. Taking an advanced electronics design into a fully enclosed, tried and tested, robust product. That’s satisfying, that is.”
He added:
“Come and talk to me about how we remove the hassle and risk of sourcing plastic components.”
Meet the Team at Advanced Engineering
Joining Dave Chance at the exhibition will be Will Johnson and James Malcolm, Business Managers; Scott Quirie, Head of European Sales; Steph Marshall Power, Head of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships; and Zenna Kiernan, Account Manager.
The six representatives bring expertise spanning engineering, customer relationships, commercial development, manufacturing and supply chain management.
James Malcolm highlighted the company’s approach to solving customer challenges:
“I enjoy solving problems. I’m commercially minded with a mechanical engineering background, so I like to keep one eye on the bottom line to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.”
He added:
“We lead with an engineering approach. Tell me about your challenge and we’ll work on solving it.”
Steph Marshall Power also emphasised the opportunity to connect with manufacturers and industry professionals:
“I like to talk about everything. Cars, bikes, STEM education, supply chain, manufacturing, networking, you name it.”
