Plastech Solutions Wins Ancillary Partnership Award

Plastech Solutions is delighted to have won the coveted Supplier Partnership – Ancillary Equipmentaward at this years Plastics Industry Awards for its work with Star Automation and Aeroplas.

Hosted by funnyman Simon Evans, the Plastics Industry Awards took place on Thursday, December 2, at The Waldorf Hilton in London and was live-streamed for all to see.

As the UK distributor of Star Automation robots, Plastech Solutions was asked to assist and configure the most suitable robot take-out solution for a project for its customer Aeroplas. The project comprised four new injection moulding machines, each requiring a robot take-out solution with conveyor stacking and indexing feature. Unexpectedly, a fifth robot was also needed when an older existing robot was deemed unrepairable. The project was finished on time; the customer was satisfied and is already making plans and discussing future projects.

Plastech says the team worked incredibly hard to achieve the prestigious award, which was sponsored by PlastikCity and presented to Plastech by PlastikCity Managing Director Carl Futcher. Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance, adds Jack Baker, Director of Plastech Solutions. The company represents market-leading products supported by a dedicated team of service engineers bringing another successful year to a close.
