More Plastic Industry Leaders Join PlastikCity

In recent months, thirteen additional companies have become PlastikCity Partners, bringing a range of equipment and services to PlastikCity and its users. Four of these companies joined PlastikCity at the recent Plastics Live show.

All of these new partners stay true to PlastikCity’s principle of only partnering UK & Ireland-based companies with high-quality equipment and services.

3di Consulting is a design, development and prototyping company which creates products, re-engineers products and solves problems. The team’s extensive hands-on experience has involved them working in industries such as industrial, defence, medical, construction and consumer markets. All 3D Labs supplies a 3D printing service, providing on-demand manufacturing for prototyping and low-to-medium volume parts. They use the HP Multi Jet Fusion 5200 printer and are the first service provider in the UK to use the impressive Dyemansion Powerfuse S. The Powerfuse S is a post-processing machine which allows your printed parts to have near injection moulded quality. All 3D Labs joins PlastikCity in 3D Printing.

Billion, founded by Mr Léon Billion in 1949, has a vast experience in plastics injection moulding machine design and manufacture. Campetella Robotic Center is an Italian designer and manufacturer of robots and automation solutions. The company boasts a centuries-old history that crosses the Industrial Revolution and involves five generations of the Campetella family. Their core business lies in finding robotic solutions for the plastic injection moulding sector, and the solid experience they have been gaining over time has led them to be chosen by major national and international industrial groups. Campetella joins PlastikCity in Beam Take-Out Robots and Side-Entry Robots.

DMN-WESTINGHOUSE has been designing and manufacturing rotary valves, diverter valves and other related components for the bulk solids handling industry for many years. The company’s sole activity is the development, manufacture and sale of these components. They serve their clients through a worldwide network of dedicated distribution partners and their own offices. DMN-WESTINGHOUSE joins PlastikCity in Bulk Conveying Systems & Components.

EmmersonWills designs, installs, and supports ISO business management systems for Quality (9001), Environmental (14001) and/or Health & Safety (45001) to UKAS certified levels. Their services are all about improving quality and productivity, reducing risk and verifying compliance. In other words, to improve the effectiveness, profitability and sustainability of your business. EmmersonWills joins PlastikCity in ISO & CE Certification Services.

HT Tooling Solutions specialises in the design, manufacture, and validation of visionary, innovative, and highly efficient moulds in the plastics industry. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Manchester is what allows them to remain at the forefront of what they do. LXD is the official UK supplier of Limex; an innovative, new material made from mostly limestone, designed as a sustainable alternative to plastic and paper. The company supplies the UK with both Limex pellets and Limex sheet. LXD provides consultancy and support to businesses seeking to make the transition over to Limex, as well as those on trial pilot schemes, to ensure the right grade of materials is selected for you. Performance Biolubricants is a division of M&I Materials and is dedicated to developing high-performing Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) for demanding applications. The business is borne out of a rich heritage of manufacturing and commercialising products for the industrial lubricants markets for well over 100 years. In the plastics industry, the company supplies high-performing biolubricants for all hydraulic systems, specifically designed for plastic moulding hydraulic systems. The company operates from its recently acquired 30,000-square-foot facility in Elland, West Yorkshire. Preston Plastics is an industry-leading recycler of post-industrial plastic waste. Their work helps to reduce the quantity and range of waste plastic entering landfills and incineration, supporting company’s efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and be a more sustainable organisation. They deal principally in polypropylene and supply specified recycled compounds, agglomerate and granulate. Preston Plastics joins PlastikCity in Buy Recycled Material and Sell Plastic Scrap.
