Plastics Industry Leaders to Exhibit at Automechanika Birmingham
Automechanika Birmingham is the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain.
Following the success of the inaugural show in 2016, Automechanika is now established as the annual trade event for uniting the UK automotive aftermarket and supply chain.
The exhibition is the UK’s biggest UK automotive event, hosting over 800 exhibitors who will showcase the latest products and automotive technology from the aftermarket and supply chain. A packed seminar programme covers business advice, best practice, technical tips and live demonstrations for the aftermarket. This year’s event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham, between 6 – 8 June.
The 2017 event will be 70% bigger than 2016, with longer opening hours and taking over more NEC halls; 6, 17-20, and with a new dedicated supply chain zone.
Exhibitors include PlastikCity Partners LVS Small Plastic Parts and their independent Metrology division – LVS Quality Measurement Services. LVS are the contract manufacturing partner to some of the best companies in the UK and Europe. Operating 36 automated moulding machines up to 800 tonnes lock, LVS offer a turnkey solution from design concept to JIT delivery, backed by added value processes and tooling support (Stand 6B34).
Also attending are Impact Solutions, a leading plastics testing laboratory, R&D centre and consultancy. Their accelerated weathering & lightfastness testing is covered under their UKAS flexible scope of accreditation for laboratory 0402 in line with ISO 17025 (Stand 6A03).
Huddersfield based Forteq Group are a leading global supplier of technical plastic components and assemblies to the automotive industry. Forteq injection mould components for functional applications such as engine timing systems, engine mounts, power steering, gear actuators, pumps, air suspension, door latch, window lift, filtration and HVAC, often using advanced technical polymers (Stand 6B141).
