PlastikCity celebrated a landmark evening at the Plastics Industry Awards 2024, held on Friday, 22nd November, at the InterContinental London Park Lane. The company proudly secured two coveted accolades, marking a significant moment of recognition for its contributions to the plastics industry.
The first win of the evening was the Best Business Initiative of the Year award for PlastikCity on Tour. This innovative project has brought attention to the exceptional talent, creativity, and collaboration within the PlastikCity Partner network. By visiting and showcasing businesses across the UK and Ireland, PlastikCity on Tour has strengthened industry connections and celebrated the advancements shaping the plastics sector.
The celebrations reached new heights when Carl Futcher, founder and director of PlastikCity, was honoured with the prestigious Plastics Industry Ambassador award. This special award recognises Carl’s outstanding contributions, vision, and dedication to the industry over three decades of leadership. His commitment to advancing the UK plastics sector and fostering innovation has earned him this well-deserved recognition.
