Plastribution Unveils New Content Library

Leading plastics raw materials distributor, Plastribution, has recently released a new content library resource known as the ‘know-how hub’.

Plastribution Know How Hub - UK Plastics NewsThe library, which is accessed via their website (www.plastribution.co.uk/know-how-hub), is a registration-based source of premium content already contains over 70 articles covering insights, opinion, market intelligence and innovation. Plastribution say that the ‘hub’ will grow over time to include additional content including, pricing, ebooks, videos, webinars, white papers, analysis reports and more.

Plastribution’s managing director, Mike Boswell, said: “We launched the first edition of our popular ‘know-how’ magazine in 2011 as a means of keeping our customers and suppliers fully informed on market developments and insights. With seven editions now published, it makes good sense to provide a content library so that we can consolidate our knowledge and expertise in one central location. The move allows us to offer tailored content that will be constantly evolving, thereby providing subscribers with a high value opportunity to access a wealth of useful information.”

Plastribution Know-How Hub - UK Plastics NewsFollowing registration, subscribers to the know-how hub will be able to select their specific areas of interest so that relevant content can be tailored to suit their preferences; this level of interaction will enable Plastribution to ‘push’ new related content to subscribers as and when appropriate. Alongside a quick search facility, subscribers will also be able to filter their search for content based on ‘industry’, ‘material supplier’ or ‘product’; a ‘recently viewed’ button also allows subscribers to keep check of the information they’ve previously looked at. Content can also be accessed via mobile and tablets. An insight to the hub can be viewed at bit.ly/2nJb2u0.

“The main benefit of the know-how hub is having the ability to provide signed-in members with content to suit them. So rather than pushing out a magazine or e-newsletter with a collection of articles and insights in the hope that there will be something for everyone, we can now accurately tailor the content to suit individual subscribers, thus making the know-how element of service more efficient,” added Boswell.
