Moulded-in-Colour Polymers Growing in Automotive Applications

Jan Szymula will deliver an insightful talk on “SABIC Specialties Solutions for Paint Elimination in Automotive Exterior Trims,” as part of the Plastics Live conference programme.

This presentation will delve into the benefits of LNP™ SLX Copolymer Resins, polycarbonate copolymers designed to offer superior protection against prolonged UV exposure and scratch damage.

Due to removing the need for secondary painting or coating processes, the LNP SLX range can also offer significant cost and C02 reductions over traditional alternatives and is suitable for automotive applications.

Jan will explore how these innovative materials can enhance the visual appearance and surface aesthetics of automotive exterior trims while reducing total system costs through the transition from painted to moulded-in-colour parts.

Available exclusively from Polydist in the UK, the UK sales and technical teams will be on hand at the exhibition to discuss the SABIC specialties range in more detail.
