Avalon Plastics has had plenty to celebrate recently, recognising both long-standing service and career progression within the company. A specialist in injection moulding and mould tool solutions, Avalon operates 24/7 from its purpose-built facility in Somerset. The business takes pride in fostering loyalty and professional development, and these latest achievements show the dedication and commitment of its team.
25 Years of Service
Paul Stewart, Shift Manager, was recognised for his long and dedicated service, receiving a 25-year service presentation from Avalon Plastics’ Managing Director, Richard Winterbottom and Chairman, Keith Butler. Having joined Avalon Plastics as a production operator in January 2000, Paul has progressed to a managerial role and is one of 17 colleagues with over 20 years of service—seven of whom have been with the company for over 35 years.
Key Promotions within the Company
Ryan Tuffin has been promoted to Financial Controller, having previously served as Management Accountant as Hayden Osborne steps into the role of Planning Supervisor, advancing from Planning Assistant.
Both Ryan and Hayden started at Avalon Plastics as apprentices and have successfully built their careers within the company. Managing Director Richard Winterbottom commented: “It’s great to see Ryan and Hayden successfully developing their careers with Avalon. Congratulations to them both.”
