To further support new and existing users of IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software company, in Sweden and the Nordic region, Proximity has become a member of Svensk Plastindustriförening, the Swedish Plastic Industry Association, which represents over 140 manufacturers and suppliers.
IQMS uniquely combines ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) software functionality to give organisations a comprehensive end-to-end suite for running their manufacturing and business operations.
Based on decades of specialist knowledge and thousands of plastics manufacturers across the world, IQMS helps businesses meet the challenges of fluctuating raw material costs; multi and family tooling needs; regrind and consumption tracking and management, and shelf life management to achieve greater profitability.
Blow moulding, compounding, extrusion / co-extrusion, injection and thermoforming manufacturers all benefit from powerful functionality to ensure on-time-delivery with increased accuracy, improved quality and at a lower cost.
Proximity is a certified IQMS reseller and provides IQMS implementation services across Europe, including the Nordics, UK and Ireland.
Commenting on membership, Nick Jackson, Proximity’s Client Director said:
‘We’re delighted to be joining the Swedish Plastic Industry Association. SPIF will help Proximity and IQMS reach more small and medium-sized plastics manufacturers in Sweden, but also support our existing customers in the country.”
IQMS already has a number of plastics manufacturing users in Sweden and the Nordics including Artaplas, Plast AB Orion, Holmgren Plast AB and EssgePlast.
As well as joining Svensk Plastindustriförening, Proximity will be promoting IQMS at Plastteknik Nordics, which takes place at Malmömässan Malmö, Sweden from 8 to 9 May.
Now in its tenth year, Plastteknik Nordics is aimed at companies and individuals working in the plastics and rubber processing industry and features a comprehensive seminar programme and exhibitor zone.
Proximity and IQMS are already active members of the British Plastics Federation, PLASTICS, SPE and MAPP.
