See the ARBURG Freeformer 300-3X at Plastics Live!

Leading machinery manufacturer ARBURG is pleased to be a launch partner at Plastics Live 2022 and will be demonstrating the ARBURG plastic freeforming (APF) technology on stand B27.

On display will be a freeformer 300 -3X, three nozzle model, equipped with the option to process high-temperature materials. The team from Arburg Ltd, together with their additive manufacturing experts, will be on hand to discuss any requirements and answer any questions.

The freeformer (APF) technology is unique in that it offers an open control system, allowing the technician total freedom to be able to set and optimise the process. The parts manufactured are fully functional and these are produced with standard plastic granulate that the customer purchases direct from material companies, saving huge costs in comparison to alternative systems.

The freeformer is equally adept at producing individual parts and/or low volumes from qualified standard plastic granulate and the customisation of mass-produced articles can also be handled with ease. The technology also allows for production in clean room environments.  By combining fundamental research and knowledge gained in processing over decades in injection moulding, together with continuous technical advances, ARBURG is able to offer its customers both in-depth know-how and practical technology to enable them to utilise the freeformer to meet their ongoing requirements in additive manufacturing. A thorough support package is included with each machine to enable customers to achieve the best results from this unique technology.
