SGH Moulds Ltd, a UK-based toolmaking and manufacturing business, is celebrating Yvette Beaumont’s 30 years with the company, marking three decades of service, loyalty and professionalism.
Reaching 30 years of continuous service is a significant milestone and reflects Yvette’s long-standing contribution to SGH. Since joining the business three decades ago, she has played an important role in supporting its development through a period of considerable operational and technological change.
When Yvette first joined SGH Moulds Ltd, the business operated in a very different environment. Financial records were maintained in handwritten ledgers, processes were largely manual, and administration depended heavily on traditional paperwork. Over the years, SGH has moved from those early systems to PC-based processes and, more recently, to a modern financial set-up using Xero accounting and integrated MRP systems.
Throughout that transition, Yvette has remained a consistent and dependable presence within the business. Her ability to adapt to new systems and support the company through change has helped SGH modernise while maintaining the accuracy and reliability required within the finance function.
As part of the Financial Operations team, working alongside Joanne, Yvette supports several areas of the business. Her responsibilities include managing payroll, assisting employees with HR-related matters, liaising directly with customers to resolve queries and process new orders, providing administrative support to the Tool Room Manager, and assisting the Logistics and Warehouse Manager to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Her commitment was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she was one of only ten employees who continued working on site. During that period, Yvette supported not only her usual function but also assembly, dispatch and factory floor operations, demonstrating flexibility and commitment at a challenging time for the business.
Across the past 30 years, Yvette has become an integral part of SGH’s success. As the new owners continue to transition the company into a more modern, digitally enabled way of working, her experience and support remain highly valued.
