Cellular Mouldings Expands Extrusion Capacity with New Machinery Investment

In February 2026, Cellular Mouldings Ltd took delivery of the latest addition to its extrusion capability, with brand-new extruder machinery arriving at its Corby site.
Peter Matthews, Managing Director of Cellular Mouldings Ltd, said, “This investment represents more than just new equipment on the floor. It’s a major step forward in increasing our production capacity, improving efficiency, and continuing to deliver the high-quality results our customers expect from us.”
Cellular Mouldings’ team is now preparing for installation and commissioning, focusing on integrating the machines smoothly into existing workflows and getting them running at full capability.
The delivery follows Cellular Mouldings’ long-standing commitment to UK manufacturing. Established in 1972, the family-run business now supports more than 400 customers, producing flexible, rigid and co-extruded profiles alongside polyurethane moulded components for a wide range of industries. Extrusion has been part of the company’s in-house capabilities since 2004, growing from a single line to four lines currently operating five days a week.
Based in Corby, Northamptonshire, Cellular Mouldings manufactures in the UK and continues to invest in the processes, people and equipment needed to deliver consistent results for its customers.
