Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd recognise their most valuable asset is their staff. Without investment in training and creating opportunities the company would not be able to implement the ideas that become quality products in reusable plastic.
Working and valuing young people and encouraging them to develop is a long-term commitment for the business. Learning whilst earning is also appealing to young people venturing into the work place, especially in roles where University may not suit. Apprenticeships are now seen as a valuable career path and most businesses can see the benefits. When the Insider North West Awards opened nominations, the team knew that Hannah Foster would be the ideal colleague to put forward.
Hannah joined Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd in August 2017 and began her apprenticeship within the Human Resources department. Hannah quickly developed her skill set, showing excellence within communication and her management of people.
She was selected from many applications, and was thrilled to be nominated as a finalist. Hannah attended the award ceremony with Neil Ashurst, Interim General Manager of Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd and family members on Thursday 19th April 2018 at The Mercure Hotel Manchester Piccadilly. Hannah was excited and proud that her colleagues had nominated her and was extremely surprised to come away as a winner.
“I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that contributed to my award-winning Insider North West’s Young Apprentice of the Year 2018, to be nominated was amazing but to win is just overwhelming. I cannot thank everyone at Coral Products (Mouldings) LTD enough that has helped me since I started my apprenticeship in August 2017. I have learnt so much from everyone already, especially my manager Stephanie Ingham who has created opportunities and, as I now advance in my career within Human Resources, is a constant support.”
The team at Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd are extremely proud of Hannah’s achievements and look forward to her continued contribution to the business, and helping her career develop.
