Faulkner Moulds, reigning UK ‘Toolmaker of the Year’, has won May’s Eaton Smith ‘Business of the Month Award’, and is a finalist for West Yorkshire ‘Business of the Year’ 2019.
Eaton Smith, who host the awards, created the award to “showcase the best businesses in the region” and “celebrate hard work, brilliance and innovation”. The award covers all businesses in the Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield areas of West Yorkshire – an area of around 700 square miles.
The award criteria include everything from the company’s contribution to the local region, to business strategy, training and employment opportunities, and being a responsible business.

It was great to meet the whole team who are clearly very highly valued by Duncan and Caroline. Faulkner Moulds look to have a very positive future ahead, making them very worthy winners.”

Faulkner are no stranger to winning awards, having twice won the UK Plastics Industry Award for ‘Toolmaker of the Year’ in 2016 and 2018.
Faulkner Moulds will now attend the annual breakfast awards ceremony on 28 June in Huddersfield where the 2019 ‘Business of the Year’ will be announced.
