Hardie Polymers MD, Fergus Hardie competed in the ‘Vuelta’ cycle challenge on the West Coast of Scotland recently.

Fergus rode over 300km in 3 days and helped raise funds for Mary’s Meals charity – they feed over 1.2 million of the world’s poorest children every day.

Mary’s Meals provides one good meal to some of the world’s poorest children every school day. Today the charity is feeding 1,230,171 of the world’s poorest children every day. Their simple but effective approach has gathered momentum. They serve children across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and South America.

Mary’s Meals also supports a home for young people with HIV who were abandoned as children in Romania.

If you would like to donate to support the incredible work of Mary’s Meals then please visit their website.

The full story behind the cycle ride was published recently in the Oban Times.
