Temperature control experts, Frigosystem, will be the cooling option of choice on many stands, providing at least 4 megawatts of total cooling power during K2022. Two stretch-film lines and two blown-film lines will be fully equipped with Frigosystem chillers and temperature controllers, including its specialist KITE technology for blown film.
Frigosystem’s focus for more than 50 years has been providing robust, and energy-efficient temperature control equipment for a range of industrial, including plastics, applications. After celebrating its 50th year during K2019, this year, Frigosystem will be unveiling a range of new technology and innovations to help customers save energy.
On display at Frigosystem’s booth will be:
- A water-cooled TURBOCOR Resulting from Frigosystem’s experience in using magnetic levitation technology in process cooling industries, Frigosystem TURBOCOR (I-RES) chillers, are the most efficient and reliable solution. With cooling power available up to 4700 kW, the efficiency of this series has no comparisons, with an SEPR of 12.04 (double the efficiency of traditional chillers).
- New versions of Frigosystem’s innovative RACA PLUS ENERGY range of chillers, equipped with heat recovery. The refrigeration circuit dissipates heat which, in many applications, can be fully or at least partially recovered by means of a desuperheater. The heat recovery is a further system at the customer’s disposal to increase output and further reduce energy costs. The basic version can recover heat up to 40C, with Frigosystem now launching a configuration with heat recovery up to 80C. There is a great demand in having heating and cooling at the same time, with huge energy savings in many industrial applications, including washing and recycling and other plastics processes.
- Thanks to the latest innovations, Frigosystem FREE-COOLING is now more efficient and have extended the time when free-cooling can be used.
- Next generation refrigerant gasses with high efficiency and low GWP.
- In addition to the traditional 350C oil and 160C water thermoregulators, Frigosystem will present a multizone system for MDO The MDO is crucial in the most modern blown and cast-film lines to increase the throughput of expensive materials, and to improve properties of strength and transparency.
