Gunther UK Appoints Craig Duncan as New Technical Sales Manager

Gunther UK Ltd, a supplier of high-precision hot runner systems and mould components across the UK and Ireland, is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Duncan as its new Technical Sales Manager. Bringing more than three decades of technical expertise, Craig strengthens Gunther’s commitment to supporting moulders and manufacturers with its industry‑leading solutions. His main area of focus will be on standard mould parts from KNARR and coupling solutions from RTC.

With this role playing a key part in Gunther UK’s expansion plans, the business turned to Sierra 57 Consult to help source the best‑fit candidate. With 34 years of experience in the toolmaking industry, Craig has a deep technical expertise across a broad spectrum of manufacturing and moulding disciplines. His background spans tool, jig, and die making, injection moulding, blow moulding, PET injection blow moulding, and the design and manufacture of jigs and fixtures.

Craig has extensive experience in sales, customer support, and new business development, with a particular focus on steel and components for the moulding industry. He has worked closely with manufacturers, moulders, and tooling specialists, providing technical solutions and driving commercial growth.

Over the course of his career, he has held key positions, including:

Senior Toolmaker – leading complex tooling projects, precision manufacturing, and technical problem‑solving.
Regional Sales Manager – managing territories, developing customer relationships, providing technical sales support, and delivering commercial results.

Craig’s combined hands‑on expertise and commercial insight allow him to bridge the gap between production needs and strategic business development, making him a valuable partner for technical manufacturing clients.
