IPL Brightgreen Opens Doors to Members of Chartered Institution of Wastes Management

IPL Brightgreen is opening its doors in Castleford to members of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), a leading professional body for resource and waste professionals.

Site visits like this one matter. Not because they are a showcase, but because they are a conversation. The chance to walk people through a working rigid plastics recycling and remanufacturing facility, to show what the process actually involves, and to have an honest dialogue about where the sector is heading and what it takes to do this well.

There is a lot of talk in the circular economy about what recycling should look like. IPL Brightgreen belivieves it’s equally important to show what it does look like, in practice, on a production floor, with real feedstock, real quality controls and real customer specifications to meet.

CIWM represents professionals working across waste management, resource recovery and the circular economy. Their members shape thinking, influence policy and work at the operational heart of a sector that is under genuine pressure to perform. Bringing that community into its facility, and into the detail of what the company does, is something it genuinely values.

The company looks forward to welcoming the group on the 24th July and to the discussion that follows.
